Pro Tip – Holding a second finger on the canvas while rotating a text box or an object will snap the rotation angle to 45º or 90º increments. You can also do this by activating the Rotate Mode in the Toolbar near the Selection Tool. Tap and hold the orange Rotate handle at the top center of your text box, and drag it to rotate the text box to the left or the right. Pro Tip – When you convert text into vector shapes, each letter will be divided into a separate shape, so it is advisable to use guides or group the letters after the transformation to keep the alignment of the word intact. After you convert your text into shapes, you won’t be able to edit the text itself again, so it’s better to convert a few words and not an entire paragraph, unless you're certain that you won't need to edit your text again later. This will allow you to edit the text in the same way you would edit any other vector paths.īut, keep in mind that, converting text to outlines is a one-way process. To convert text into vector shapes, select your text box and tap the button at the bottom of the Path Tab labeled Create Outlines from Text (1). It will allow you to edit and move your text precisely, and keep your document organized. Once you've set your text to the correct size, it is the optimal moment to tap this button. 🙋🏻♂️ At the moment, it's not possible to set a negative value to Line Height, but we're considering adding this option. Pro Tip – The Line Height feature will allow you more precision while creating text with several lines or paragraphs.

Also some features could be added like bitmap masks for text using images, or better control of the font, rotations etc could be applied, so im (as always) putting full source code on a repository and inviting anyone to contribute. From now, customization can be only made from designer and plugin dont have any lua methods, it could be added but i saw no point on doing this. So a bit more of work than ive expected on this, but result is kinda cool.

This is highly experimental and could break, in fact it has some issues redrawing, but they are more refered to this particular plugin by its graphic pipeline so it can stay as it is, im more interested on the other plugin, but doing this served as good learning, and finished long time abandoned project.Īpart from limited api, ams object plugins are way limited by the way the data is stored and passed, so also had to overcome this using windows crypto lib to encode and decode data from base64 to unicode utf16-le and vice versa, so this plugin can use any weird language you speak (probably, dont expect 4byte unicodes like emojis to work) net control that wont be shipped in release, so designer stuff is separated from runtime stuff, being much more convenient.
